Description
Holding the sun is from a reference picture I took on the way to my good friends in Falkland Somerset. A frosty, low mist morning, I spotted these trees in a field. Drawn with home made Cherrywood charcoal from my fathers ornamental cherry tree in Essex, on pastel mat paper. The first time I had used Pastelmat paper and I really enjoyed it. It was a little unforgiving if I made a mistake but the ‘tooth’ of the paper meant I could get a darker tone where needed.
