Description
Pond skater II (2) was actually started before Pond Skater (1) but I put it aside as I was struggling to create the depth I wanted. I Did the second one on Pastelmat paper which is a lot better for layering on. This one was drawn on some scrap card from my lovely printers in Yeovil, Flaydemouse. I just couldn’t get it right. But as always I was up for a challenge and layered it by using fixative, and then drawing over it again, about three times in all to get the effect I wanted. I had great fun and am really pleased I kept on with it.
Wisteria powdered charcoal and Cherry charcoal on card, Image size 30cm x 43cm and the framed size is 44cm x 54.5cm.
This is an Original Artwork signed and certificated and there will be no prints made of this one.
