Description
Offa’s Dyke tree 2025 is a coloured pastel study inspired by my wife an I walk of the trail following the path of the famous boundary between England and Wales. You can see the ‘Dyke’ in the picture, now, hundreds of years old, and getting less distinct over time.
This was another challenge, to bring me back to colour after a long while of working in just charcoal. I really enjoyed it, and have done more colour since this piece.
The original has been entered, and is through to the exhibition of the ACE Arts Open 2025 where you will be able to see it in person this year. The original is available at the moment to purchase but cannot be delivered until after the exhibition from October to the new year.
