Wave 2024 is an evocative piece of art created by Bob during a contemplative moment on Beer Beach in Devon. This shingle beach, part of the renowned Jurassic Coast, is celebrated for its unique rock formations and bustling fishing trade. Bob’s artwork captures a fleeting moment that resonated deeply with him, especially given the personal circumstances surrounding his family.
Beer Beach, located in Devon, is a picturesque shingle beach that has long been a favourite spot for both locals and visitors. The beach is not only known for its stunning geological features but also for its vibrant fishing industry. On a cold February day, while Bob’s wife Loulou was braving the chilly waters, Bob found himself inspired by the waves and the serene yet powerful landscape.
Bob’s inspiration for Wave 2024 came during a tumultuous time. One of their sons was hospitalized due to a mental illness, adding a layer of emotional complexity to the moment. The wave he captured symbolizes a fleeting but significant instance in time, one that he felt would never be replicated. This sense of impermanence and the raw beauty of nature are encapsulated in Wave 2024.
What makes Wave 2024 truly special is its representation of a moment that Bob believes will never be repeated. The piece serves as a poignant reminder of the transient nature of life and the moments that define our existence. These fine art prints are printed on a Canon Image pro 2100 High quality printer with advanced image processing and 12 colour pigment inks [Pigment inks holds it’s colour, quality and vibrancy]. The paper is Fine Art Professional Inkjet Soft White Cotton 280gsm.
The print size is 611mm x 398mm (61.1cm x 39.8cm) and the image size is 594mm x 332mm (59.4cm x 33.2cm) each comes with the artist signature and a numbered certificate of authenticity (including a tamperproof serial numbered foil)
