Playing to the Gallery by Grayson Perry<\/strong> – I really enjoyed this book from front to back. He writes clearly and accessibly throughout and has added a lot of doodles that help emphasise key points, mostly in a humorous way. After reading it you feel allowed to be in a gallery and have an opinion about a piece of art, without feeling that you are being naughty for even walking through the door. Art should be there for all. A wonderful book and a wonderful Artist. Search the internet for the best current price, I like world of books<\/a> where you can pick things up second hand.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Logan graphic products inc. have a Mat border calculator<\/strong> on their website that has been invaluable. I use it for doing my framing all of the time. Its free and you just enter the measurements of your frame and then your artwork and it will calculate all the spacings so that you can cut out the perfect mount card for your frame every time.
