Description
Hopeful beach, named from a time that we had been agreed funding to help our eldest son to attend the National Psychosis unit in London, this funding was later removed but we are still fighting the decision. Drawn with Pan pastels, pastel pencils and soft pastel sticks, this was a great piece to paint. We think it is from Saunton Sands beach in Devon where I took some reference pictures but we are not entirely sure. I love the light, colours and reflections, a challenge, again.

This piece has been Entered into the Marine Artists Open, I have yet to hear if it will be exhibited. It has also been entered into the Somerton ACE Arts Open 2025 and accepted into the exhibition from Oct 25 to Dec 25.
