I love my sister Sarah and I loved doing this drawing of her in Homemade Cherrywood charcoal on Pastelmat paper. From a holiday when we went to Alnwick Gardens, a complex of formal gardens adjacent to Alnwick Castle in the town of Alnwick, Northumberland, England. The light was wonderful and I took several pictures as she walked through, using these as my reference points for the drawing.
Home made Cherrywood charcoal on Pastelmat paper, image measuring 28cm x 36cm and framed in an upcycled solid wood frame from a charity shop, measuring 48cm x 54cm. The original is now sold but . . .
